Leeds United star Pontus Jansson has given his opinion on Borussia Dortmund’s latest signing Alexander Isaac. The young Swede recently signed for the Bundesliga giants after impressing for his club and country.
Speaking to Aftonbladet, Jansson said it’s good to see because he’s followed Issac’s progress in the Swedish league, and been impressed with what he’s seen. The Leeds United player believes the 17-year-old is mature for his age, but thinks it’s too early to see how far he can go in his career, despite his early promise.
“It’s very good to see. I follow the league closely and I am deeply impressed. It’s hard to say how good he is and how far he can go. But he seems very mature. 17 years old and so good,” said the Leeds United defender.
Jansson will be hoping to get his permanent move to Leeds United sorted in this transfer window. The 25-year-old has now played the required twenty games for Leeds United, meaning the club have an option to buy him outright for £3.4m from Torino.
The Elland Road faithful will want this sorted out soon, with Jansson becoming such a key player in Garry Monk’s team.
