Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has told the Swedish media he doesn’t care he was pictured celebrating with a convicted hooligan. Pictures emerged during the Norwich City game showing Aaron Cawley celebrating with the Leeds United players despite being banned for life by the club.

Speaking to Aftonbladet, Jansson was asked about the coverage him celebrating with Cawley was getting in the British media. The Sweden international said it’s natural to go over to your fans to celebrate a goal, but couldn’t give an answer on Cawley because he was just stood there.

Jansson went on to say what happened on Saturday doesn’t concern him and it’s something he’s certainly not worrying himself about.

“I jump around out there in the pure joy, and he is standing there… I have no idea what my answer is to that. I actually don’t give a sh*t,” said the Leeds United star.

Cawley’s ban came after he entered the pitch, and pushed Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland to the ground. Despite his ban he still managed to get into Carrow Road last weekend to see Leeds United beat Norwich City 3-2.
