NEC will not sell Anthony Limbombe on the cheap this summer despite the attacker expressing a desire to leave the Dutch side. Leeds United have been linked with the young Belgian, but face competition from clubs across Europe.
Limbombe still has 2 years left on his contract, and NEC will want to maximise his transfer fee this summer given their financial problems.
NEC’s valuation of Limbombe is double what Leeds United offered last summer when they failed in their attempt to land the former Belgium youth international.
The Championship side have continued to track Limbombe during the past 12 months, with recent reports claiming they are still interested in signing the youngster.
Leeds United will face competition from the likes of Lille and Club Brugge to land the player.
