According to a claim in the Italian media, Brescia are close to signing Leeds United defender Tyler Denton.
The 22 year old has been linked with the Serie B side in recent days after reports he will be loaned out by Leeds United.
Gazzetta dello Sport today report Denton is ‘one step away’ from signing for Brescia as Massimo Cellino looks to strengthen the squad this summer.
The former Leeds United owner has ambitions to get the Lombardy club back into Serie A, and it’s expected there will be plenty of players leaving and being signed by Brescia this summer.
The Italian sports outlet also reports Carpi are looking to close a deal with Leeds United for their forward Jerry Mbakogu.
In recent days there have been claims coming out of Italy that Carpi have hurried their talks with the Championship as they need the cash from Mbakogu to invest in their squad.
Yesterday it was claimed Leeds United want a discount on Mbakogu after initial reports that the English side would be signing him for €3.5m.
