It’s not often Leeds United find their way into a Catalan newspaper, especially since the Championship club saw the back of Thomas Christiansen, who came through Barcelona’s B team.

Now it’s another former Barcelona B player getting the attention in Spain whilst at Leeds, and it’s for all the right reasons.

In their Sunday edition, Sport celebrate the achievement of ‘Exbarcelonista’ Hoskun Temenuzhkov. Sport say a goal from the youth player helped Leeds United’s age restricted side win their title.

As Sport have it, at the end of last season, Barcelona told ‘Kun’ they would no longer be counting on him and he could find himself a new club.

That took the youngster to Leeds United and it’s explained how things have gone well for the footballer, with the switch to Yorkshire presented as a fortunate move.

The Catalan media will be keeping a close eye on the youngster’s progress, hoping to see him in the Leeds United senior team.
