Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been very vocal in the Swedish media since joining up with the national team this week, and again he’s been speaking about his future in England. Jansson is currently on loan with Leeds United, and that move will be made permanent once the defender has made 20 appearances.
The Sweden international believes he has now matured, and his only focus is to become a Leeds United player as soon as possible rather than return to Torino.
“I had two great years there and have become a better footballer for it, and also a better person. I have matured as a player. I Just hope I’m a Leeds player as soon as possible,” said Jansson on his future.
Jansson joined Leeds United in the summer after being frozen out at Torino, and the defender has gone on record to say the coaching staff at the Italian club lost faith in him because of injuries.
