Milliyet report Leeds United will receive €200k from Trazbonspor for Caleb Ekuban after it was today officially confirmed the player would be joining the Turkish club on loan.

Ekuban had been linked with the Super Lig club in recent days and arrived in Turkey yesterday to complete his transfer.

It’s been reported by Milliyet, from details released to KAP (the Turkish stock market), that Trazbonspor can make the deal permanent next summer for a fee of €1m.

The forward will now be looking to kickstart his career following his struggles with Leeds United last season. Ekuban joined the English side from Chievo last summer but injury had an impact on his season.

It soon became apparent the 24 year old wasn’t in the plans of Leeds United manger Marcelo Bilesa and subsequently the player got his transfer to Trazbonspor just days before the Super Lig window closes.

Ekuban is still contracted to Leeds United until June 2020.
