Turkish newspaper Karar claim Leeds United are ready to make an offer to sign Cyle Larin from Besiktas in the summer transfer window.
The Canadian striker, who was linked with a move to Leeds United before his move to Besiktas in 2018, has been impressing this season for Zulte Waregem after he was sent on loan to the Belgian side earlier this season.
Karar claim the Belgian side were ready to activate his €2.5m redemption clause, but after the Covid-19 outbreak they’ve reconsidered their stance on the player.
That could pave the way for Leeds United regarding their pursuit of Larin, and Karar say Marcelo Bielsa is keen to see the player in his team next season.
The Championship leaders are ready to offer €6m to sign Larin, and the Black Eagles are reportedly keen to part ways with the former Orlando City striker.
This season the 24 year old has scored 9 goals and provided 11 assists whilst playing for Zulte Waregem.
His contract with Besiktas will expire at the end of June 2022.
