According to a claim in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor will only make a decision towards the end of the season on whether to sign Leeds United forward Caleb Ekuban on a permanent deal.
The 24 year old is currently on loan with the Super Lig side and he’s impressed in recent weeks with some match winning performances.
Fantaik have reported on the latest developments regarding the Leeds United man and they say his future with Trabzonspor will be ‘clarified’ in the coming months. It’s been well documented the Turkish side can sign the player outright for a transfer fee in the region of €1m, with suggestions in recent weeks this could happen.
After a slow start in Turkey the Leeds United player has scored some vital goals for Trabzonspor, making his move more likely.
It’s unlikely Ekuban has a future at Leeds United after struggling in his debut season at Elland Road.
The attacker is contracted to the Championship side until June 2021.
