The Catalan media continue to report on Raphinha potentially moving to Barcelona, although their claims are not quite as cocky as they once were.

Last week things got rather silly, with it stated the Blaugrana didn’t want to pay more than €25m to Leeds United, despite the club avoiding relegation from the Premier League.

Deco, who represents the Brazilian, is at the centre of it all, and it’s becoming increasingly clear that he’s been pushing the player towards Barcelona for months.

Mundo Deportivo cover the situation in their Monday edition, and explain that Deco is not just the player’s agent, he also ‘collaborates with the sports management’ at the Camp Nou.

This is why, despite Mundo claiming Raphinha has offers from ‘most of the big clubs in Europe’, he’s still ‘waiting’ for Barcelona to make a serious move.

Despite all of this, the Catalan newspaper once again says that if Ousmane Dembele decides to renew then the Raphinha idea will be shelved, and there’ll be no attempt for the Leeds player.

The asking price is now put at around €55m, and Barcelona would try to reduce that by including fringe players.
