On November 17th, Radio Marca Valencia covered Leeds United’s desire to sign an U21 left-back in January, and the English club identifying Valencia’s Jesús Vázquez as a target.

A day later, ElDesmarque Valencia stated Whites sporting director, Victor Orta, is likely behind Leeds United’s pursuit of the 19-year-old.

Apart from the Premier League side, Inter Milan are also credited with an interest ahead of the winter market.

The Serie A side are expected to part ways with Robin Gosens in the January window and have identified Vázquez as an option to replace him. According to Calciomercato.it, the Nerazzurri have concretely asked for information about the Spain U19 international.

The recent claims of Leeds interest are highlighted by the Italian outlet, who then provide their own information on the possibility of Los Ches player joining Jesse Marsch’s side.

Calciomercato.it state that at the moment, Leeds are not interested in Vázquez and have ‘not taken any steps’ to sign him. They further insist the English club have not contacted Valencia officially or unofficially to request information to carry out the potential operation.

Whether they’re saying that to provide some optimism for Inter Milan remains to be seen.
