As Argentine wonderkid Pedro de La Vega continues to impress in South America, it becomes more obvious that he’ll be involved in a transfer to Europe very soon.
Last summer, we had already seen Leeds United being linked to the winger. It was claimed that his club Lanus were waiting for an offer from the Whites.
Now in a new report from TyC Sports, it’s claimed that the likes of Norwich City and Fiorentina have joined the race for the 20-year-old.
It’s reported the Canaries see De La Vega as a name to replace Emiliano Buendia, who has moved to Aston Villa this summer. However, just like La Viola, the English side are still to place a bid for the player.
They say that with the interest from Italy, perhaps Norwich City could accelerate and soon make a bid for the winger.
Meanwhile, Lanus see his sale ‘with good eyes’.
When covering the claims, outlet Depo adds that the likes of Atalanta and Leeds United have been following De La Vega for a long time. They claim the Argentine club are expecting to make €10m with his sale.
