Luis Sinisterra signed for Leeds United from Feyenoord at the beginning of the summer window, with the Whites looking to reshape their attack as Raphinha was at the exit door.

Last season, the 23-year-old put up very impressive statistics for the Dutch club, scoring 23 goals and contributing 14 assists, mainly playing on the left wing.

So far this season, he’s scored three goals and added an assist across six games, and Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch has been using him in a different role to what the player became used to in the Eredivisie during the last campaign.

Sinisterra now has more eyes on him in the Premier League, and should he impress he’ll obviously receive attention from elsewhere, just like Raphinha did.

Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti has now said the Leeds player would be an option for Serie A champions AC Milan should they lose Rafael Leao.

Quoted by Numero Diaz, he said: “If unfortunately, and let’s hope not, Leao had to leave, a player I would like and who looks a lot like him is Sinisterra, today at Leeds.”

Leeds United will obviously hope Sinisterra progresses further this season, yet that may come with the bittersweet prospect of him quickly being targeted by other clubs.
