On November 22nd, Tuttosport explained Leeds United have never hidden their desire to sign Torino’s Saša Lukić.

A day later, claims from Italy explained the Whites have a plan to make an attempt for the midfielder in January.

The Serbia international has admitted he has ‘big ambitions’ for his future, hinting a move away from the Serie A side could be on the cards.

The latest report from Calciomercato backs this up and adds that Lukić is one of the players who ‘will leave’ Torino. The question is whether he will decide to change clubs in January or next summer.

When discussing the 26-year-old’s suitors, Jesse Marsch’s side are tagged. It’s stated that in addition to AS Roma, ‘there is also Leeds United’ interested in the player.

Lukić is with the national team at the World Cup and the Premier League side have been ‘closely following’ him in Qatar.

Leeds United have so far not made an offer to Torino, and the report states ‘the negotiations could begin’ after the tournament.
