Leicester City and Leeds United are reportedly in the battle for Samu Sáiz. The Huesca striker has been in impressive form in the Spanish second division, and could finally reach his potential.

Sáiz came through the Real Madrid youth system, and then played for the B teams of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Almeria. However, he’s managed just one appearance in La Liga, when he was part of the Getafe squad in 2012.

Last Summer, he left Atletico Madrid B to join Huesca on loan and the Spanish side ended up signing him permanently. He’s had €500k release clause placed on him since joining Huesca.

According to AS, besides Leicester and Leeds, Sporting Gijón and Las Palmas are also interested in signing the 25-year-old.

Despite his good season playing as a second striker, Sáiz isn’t prolific. He ended the season for Huesca scoring just three times, making two assists in 30 matches.
