The Italian media brings today some interesting claims on the future of Torino defender Nicolas N’Koulou.
Outlet Calcio Mercato writes that the player is likely to leave the Turin side at the end of the season, as his contract is about to expire and there are no signs for a renewal.
And it turns out a club who could land the 30-year-old are Leeds United, with a special wish from manager Marcelo Bielsa.
The coach has already worked with N’Koulou back during their time at Olympique Marseille, and would now be interested in having him again at the Elland Road side as he ‘values him very much’.
There are no details on how the talks for the move have been going, although that shouldn’t be a hard signing considering that Leeds wouldn’t need to agree a fee with Torino.
N’Koulou joined the Italian side on a €3.5 move from Lyon back in 2018. After 128 appearances for the club, he’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €7m.
