It’s now time for the Italian media to report Leeds United’s interest in signing Paris Saint Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo.

Tutto Mercato Web today writes that the Whites are going ‘strong’ for the 20-year-old, who’s returning to the French capital following a loan spell at Lens.

It’s said Leeds are trying ‘an important graft for the attack’, while PSG value the player at €20m this summer.

That’s all the Italian outlet has to say for now, as they back up previous reports that have been recently going around in France. TMW present this as they own information, so it’s another source giving the story some added reliability.

Last week, it was French outlet Foot Mercato who claimed that Leeds United had made ‘an official offer’ for Kalimuendo. At the time, it was reported the Parisian side are demanding €22m for the sale, and there was no response on the bid made by the Whites.

Featuring for on loan Lens in the recently concluded season, the striker scored 13 goals in 38 appearances, and became an opportunity for PSG to make a good amount with his sale this summer.

The Ligue 1 winners have the player on a contract which lasts until June 2024, and will feel given he has two years left, and showed what he can do last season, that they can get a reasonable transfer fee.
