With Leeds United being one of the Premier League clubs who did not authorise their players to join South American sides during the national break, Raphinha should be available to face Liverpool on Sunday.

The winger had been called up by Brazil for the games against Chile, Argentina and Peru, but respected the Whites’ veto and stayed in England. That way, he avoided the need to quarantine when returning to Europe.

Now even though Leeds and Raphinha seem to have overcome that issue, we should see it happening again very soon.

According to Globo Esporte, Brazil are making a new call-up on the 17th of September, this time for the October matches against Colombia, Venezuela and Uruguay. And Tite will call up the players from the Premier League once more.

Brazil are said to be confident they’ll have those footballers in their squad this time. They believe FIFA will be tougher with clubs over releasing their international players, and even expect punishment for what is happening in the current international break.

Still, Globo Esporte says the English clubs are willing to keep their stance and fight against the call-ups. With the situation getting more complicated, Leeds should probably work things out with Raphinha so they keep a good relationship with the player.
