Bournemouth forward Tokelo Rantie has been linked with a move to Switzerland with FC Zurich. The South Africa international is expected to leave Bournemouth this summer, and is also being tracked by Leeds United.
Fotboll Direkt have claimed FC Zuirch are the latest club to show an interest after being linked with Leeds United, and also Swedish side Djurgården.
FC Zurich dropped out of the top flight of Swiss football last season, but still have the finances to fund such a deal. It’s been revealed the Swiss club would only take want to take Rantie on a season long loan spell.
Rantie’s former coach Farouk Khan recently revealed there are some clubs in Europe who are taking an interest in the South Africa international, with Leeds United being one of those.
At the time Khan confirmed his former player was currently training on his own in South Africa after refusing to join up with Bournemouth on their pre-season tour.
Ranite signed for Bournemouth in 2013 from Swedish side Malmo in 2013, but he made just one league appearance last season.
