Leeds United coach Pep Clotet has revealed the injury Eunan O’Kane picked up last night isn’t anything serious. The republic of Ireland international picked up a knock late into last night’s EFL Cup clash with Blackburn Rovers.
Speaking to the YEP, Clotet was asked about the situation with O’Kane and his injury. The Leeds United coach confirmed at the moment they are assessing the player, but the information he’s received is that the midfielder is going to be fine. Cloet said O’Kane only picked up a knock so it shouldn’t cause him any problems.
“We’re assessing it. From the information I have I think it’s going to be alright. It was just a knock,” said Clotet.
Leeds United last night carried on their winning streak by defeating Blackburn Rovers for the second time in eight days. Chris Wood’s late winner ensured the Championship side made the 4th round of the competition, and the prospect of coming up against one of the Premier League big guns.
