Dundee forward Greg Stewart is keen to find a new club this summer, according to claims in the Scottish media. The 26-year-old has refused to extend his contract with the SPL side, and subsequently he’s been linked with a move to Leeds United.

The Dundee Evening Telegraph have claimed it looks evident Stewart wants to leave Dundee in this transfer window after recent comments the forward made on his future.

With Stewart now running down his contract with Dundee it seems the player has already made a decision that his future lies elsewhere, but he may find it difficult getting a transfer this summer.

Dundee have made a stance with Stewart leaving the club this summer if clubs like Leeds United aren’t prepared to meet their £1.5m valuation, despite the risk losing him on a free transfer in 12 months.

It has been suggested an English club could be tempted to come in for Stewart before the transfer deadline, although there are other SPL clubs showing an interest.

Whatever happens with Stewart this summer it’s been reported his days look numbered at Dundee.
