Leeds United star Raphinha’s agent, Deco, remains locked in negotiations with Barcelona today about a potential move to the Nou Camp.
That’s according to journalist Gerard Romero, who has footage of the former Barcelona midfielder leaving a new meeting with the Catalan giants.
Raphinha has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona for the best part of the last month, with them keen on him as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele.
However, Leeds avoiding relegation has caused the transfer to be delayed a Barcelona are unable to afford their €65m asking price.
In the interim, Chelsea have made a serious move for the Brazilian forward, with reports in England making it clear that they are pushing to get a deal over the line.
That led to questions about whether Barcelona were still in the picture, and reports in Spain later made it clear they were.
Indeed, his agent Deco was pictured meeting with the club, and it was later explained that discussions were being held to ascertain whether they were still looking at a deal, particularly as Raphinha had made Barcelona a priority this summer.
The belief is that they are still very much in the picture, and Romero follows that up today, stating that Deco is still holding talks and negotiating about Raphinha.
That would suggest Barcelona are still keen on a deal with Leeds, and this saga could drag on for a while yet.
