Leeds United ‘remain on the scene’ for Club Brugge forward Noa Lang as the Belgian side consider a sale.
That’s according to Voetbal Niuews, who cover the player today and how his price has plummeted over the past few months.
They explain that Lang has been well out of the form that had several clubs chasing him in the summer, Leeds among them.
He’s currently not shining like he once did and has ‘dropped significantly’ in the pecking order at the Belgium club.
That’s seen some clubs drop out but Leeds ‘remain on the scene’ and looking to get a deal over the line in future.
And Club Brugge ‘will have to think hard’ about what they want to do as they need to ‘defuse the thorny situation’ around the player.
They’re still hoping to ‘hit the jackpot’ for the Netherlands international in the long run but his market value has dropped from €25m to €19m in 9 months, a total of 24%.
That gives Leeds the chance of a much better deal than they were once offered, with them presented as very much the only club still in the running.
