At the weekend, we carried a report from Bild, who stated Leeds United and Everton are ‘hot on’ RB Leipzig’s Tyler Adams.

It was also explained the midfielder’s exit from the Bundesliga side club can take place quickly.

Leeds seem to have taken the lead over Everton to sign the US national team player if a report from Sky Deutschland is to be believed.

The Whites have signed Brenden Aaronson and Marc Roca, whose favoured positions are attacking midfield and the middle of the pitch respectively. Adams, on the other hand, mainly operates as a defensive midfielder.

Despite Leeds sealing deals for the aforementioned duo, Sky explain Jesse Marsch’s side ‘definitely want to sign’ Adams in the ongoing window.

It’s claimed the negotiations are ‘already very concrete’ as the Premier League side have already made an offer of around €15m to Leipzig. They further add a salary has also been negotiated with Adams, but no details of that are mentioned.

Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips is close to completing a move to Manchester City. Adams, who is ‘set to move’ to the Premier League, could take the England international’s place at Elland Road.
