Despite being slammed for his performance against Northern Ireland by Bold on Tuesday, Leeds loanee Rasmus Nissen Kristensen impressed some enough during Denmark’s qualifying campaign.
SpilXperten take a look at the players who played the most during the process, and focus on the defender when talking about the right-back position.
Currently on loan at AS Roma, the Leeds man, alongside Alexander Bah, showed ‘fine defensive displays’, and won a ‘massive’ 15 out of 16 defensive duels when called upon.
Not only did he contribute at the back, he was also useful going forward, with it stated that he managed to hit eight successful crosses out of an attempted 11.
The Leeds defender also stood out during the ever-important 1-0 win over Finland, a game in which he was ‘decidedly excellent’.
While he didn’t play every game, he was a ‘positive feature’ every time he was asked to play by Kasper Hjulmand.
For his efforts, the Leeds loanee was given a 7/12, which is what the website’s ranking system is out of.
As things stand, Kristensen is trying to impress José Mourinho in Italy after seeking an exit from Elland Road in the summer following the club’s descent back to the Championship.
