Leeds loanee has tested positive for Covid-19 – Currently isolating at home, ‘doing well’

While Rafa Mújica’s loan from Leeds United to Real Oviedo has been an absolute disaster, that of Mateusz Bogusz at UD Logroñés has gone a bit better.

The 19-year-old has featured 13 times in the league for the La Liga2 side, scoring one goal and assisting another along the way, but it appears he’ll have to sit on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.

That’s because Grada3 are reporting the Polish midfielder is one of four players at Logroñés who have tested positive for Covid-19 since their weekend game against Mújica’s Oviedo.

The Leeds loanee is allegedly ‘doing well and currently isolating at home’, but it seems he will likely miss the next couple of games at the very least because of the news.

Bogusz spent the entirety of the Oviedo game on the bench, which was the first time he failed to appear for Logroñés since November 15th, when he was away on international duty and missed out on the 1-0 win against CE Sabadell.
