Already mentioned in England, there are now claims in France backing up the idea that Leeds United are making a move for Arnaud Kalimuendo.
The young striker, loaned from Paris Saint-Germain to RC Lens for the past two seasons, has impressed in that period.
He became a starter for the Ligue 1 side despite only turning 20 earlier this year, and scored 21 goals in 65 appearances over those two campaigns.
That’s why teams have started to take an interest in him, and while Nottingham Forest didn’t particularly tickle his fancy, that might not be the case with Leeds.

Talk of an offer from the Whites being made was already doing the rounds on these shores, but now Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna has reported the same, claiming the Elland Road side ‘have indeed made an official offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Arnaud Kalimuendo’.
The amount of the bid isn’t mentioned in his tweet, but it’s explained the Ligue 1 champions are ‘asking for €22m’ to let their starlet go.
We’ll have to wait and see if more comes out of it, but it seems Jesse Marsch wants to try and improve Leeds’ goalscoring output, having relied on the likes of Raphinha far too much last year to find the back of the net.
