Leeds United could be given a second shot at signing Torino full-back Ola Aina, with the Italian side looking to ‘cash in’ on the player.

That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed Torino Granata, who cover the player today and a potential exit for him in the January transfer window.

They explain that a renewal of Aina’s contract is currently ‘frozen’ and as a result him remaining at Torino ‘remains in the balance’.

There have been too many ups and down in his performances and that’s left technical director Davide Vagnati to get ‘on the hunt for potential buyers’ as early as January.

He aim is to try and cash in on the defender with a transfer, even if it is for a small sum, and there are interested parties.

Leeds were one of the clubs eyeing up a move in the summer transfer window and it’s believed they could be keen again, particularly if there is a bargain price on offer.

They’re not short on right backs, with the current Leeds squad currently boasting four of them, although Stuart Dallas is out injured.

Perhaps they are attracted by Aina’s ability to play on the left, having also featured there and on the left of midfield over hundred times during his career so far.

That would certainly make more sense, and he could be a name to keep an eye on between now and the end of the season, particularly with Torino happy to do a deal.
