Real Betis are showing an interest in Chelsea attacking midfielder Mario Pasalic, according to the player’s agent.
Earlier this week Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported Pasalic is a target for Leeds United this summer, along with Lazio and Valencia. Leeds United have already shown their intent in this transfer window, but targeting the Chelsea owned player would be a whole new level of ambition.
However, a move to Spain could be an option for the player after his agent Marko Naletilic spoke to Estadio Deportivo and confirmed interest from Real Betis, and that other clubs had their eye on his client.
Stuttgart are also linked with Paslaic as they look for a replacement for former Leeds United target Alexandru Maxim.
The Croatian doesn’t seem to be in Antonio Conte’s plans for Chelsea next season, and it’s likely he will again be loaned out. With Pasalic being tracked by several major clubs in Europe it will be very difficult for Leeds United to pull off a deal.
Pasalic’s last two loans have been to AS Monaco and AC Milan.
