Thomas Partey has been a regular at Arsenal this season, making six league starts and one more in the Champions League.
The Ghana international’s long-term future at the Emirates remains uncertain. He has less than a year left on his deal and it’s not yet clear whether Arsenal will offer an extension.
This allows Juventus and Inter Milan to try and sign the Arsenal player on a free transfer next summer.
That’s according to JuveLive.it, who point out the Turin club have already made contact for Partey in the past. Juve are still chasing him and are now joined by the Nerazzurri in the battle for the 31-year-old.
It’s claimed the midfielder has ‘never shown active interest’ in leaving the north London club despite exit rumours. As things stand, he will leave Mikel Arteta’s side as a free agent at the end of this season.
The report points out his ‘rebirth’ at Arsenal could ‘change the cards’ on the table, suggesting the Premier League side could possibly him offer an extension.
Inter, for their part, are not only willing to battle it out with Juventus but are ready to get ahead of them.
