Earlier today, we saw reports from the Brazilian media claiming São Paulo were struggling to get the signing of Manchester City defender Nahuel Ferraresi.
It was said the Tricolor didn’t want to pay a fee for a loan deal, while the Premier League side demanded an amount to let the player go.
Now it turns out that in an update from UOL, it’s not only said that São Paulo ‘ruled out’ the transfer, but also claimed there are two Turkish sides in the battle for him.
Regarding São Paulo’s interest, it’s said they couldn’t get a loan because Manchester City’s intention is to sell the player.
With the Turkish rivals now battle for the signing, perhaps that’s now a good factor for Pep Guardiola’s side to receive the bids they want.
UOL adds that Manchester City would accept negotiating the player for only €1m, as long as they keep 50% of a future transfer.
For now, it isn’t said if Fenerbahce or Galatasaray are willing to pay that much.
