Sky Italia reported on Thursday afternoon that Manchester United are getting closer to signing Paul Pogba from Juventus. It was claimed that Mino Raiola, Juventus, and lawyers from the Turin club all met after lunch today.
The meeting was to iron out the details, which makes it sound like a deal is done. However, Calciomercato report that Sky Italia then said there are now new details to sort out, albeit it more minor.
Those are related to things like who pays the solidarity payments, and who gets what, money due to clubs who have taken part in Pogba’s development, with both Manchester United and Juventus standing to benefit.
Once the details are sorted out, it’s claimed the Juventus legal team will then draw up the paperwork which all parties would then sign to complete the transfer.
It’s getting closer, slowly, very slowly.
