After reports from Reading claimed that Paolo Hurtado would not be part of Jaap Stam’s plans at the Royals, the Peruvian media now have their own take on the player’s situation.

According to El Bocón, the winger has two offers to leave the club. One of them is from the Peruvian club Universitario de Deportes, who would like to have Hurtado on loan in August. The other one is from Vitória Guimarães, where the player already spent the last six months.

Although Get Reading’s report said the club would like to transfer the player permanently, it looks like another loan is the most likely scenario for now.

Hurtado signed for Reading from Paços Ferreira last summer, but only made six appearances for the club before being loaned out in January. His contract runs until 2018.
