Multiple sources from the Italian media continue to talk about Everton’s chances of signing Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira.

This time, it was RAI journalist Paolo Paganini who had a chat with Tutto Mercato Web and claimed that the Toffees were the latest to make an attempt for the signing.

He was asked about where he sees Khedira’s future, and made it sound like the Old Lady are already looking for a replacement for him.

“The latest offer is that of Everton. And if Bernardeschi also moves, Juve can do something in midfield, there is always the idea of signing a regista like Pirlo,” Paolo Paganini told Tutto Mercato Web.

Sami Khedira doesn’t have a single minute playing under Andrea Pirlo this season, and that’s why his departure from Juventus is so commented on by the Italian press.

Last month, the 33-year-old was asked about the possibility of making a move to the Premier League, and admitted that’s ‘an option’ he has.

His contract with Juventus expires at the end of the season, but considering how things have been going, it wouldn’t cost a lot for Everton or another club to take him out of Turin.
