It’s no secret, but Leicester City are signing Cengiz Ünder.

After months of offering him around hoping for an offer, AS Roma will finally get the money they were looking for, although only €3m of those will be up front.

The winger will initially arrive at King Power Stadium on a loan, with Leicester then paying a further €24m (according to Corriere dello Sport) or €25m (according to Gazzetta dello Sport).

Both newspapers have some details about the situation, but it’s Corriere who have the most.

They are in agreement that Ünder will undergo his medicals ahead of the move on Friday morning, as Leicester City’s doctors arrived on Thursday evening ahead of the process.

Corriere then state that once they are done, he will ‘leave for Leicester in a private flight with one of his agents’.

Then, ‘once he’s landed in England, the player will sign the contract’ to put his Italian adventure behind him once and for all.

Of the €24-25m that will be paid by Leicester, 20% of it will go to his former club, Basaksehir.

Ünder will also see his wages increase from €2.5m a year in Rome to €4m a year at King Power Stadium, bonuses included.
