Turkish giants Galatasaray are set to make a last-ditch attempt to sign Everton striker Cenk Tosun, according to Haberturk.

Last night Galatasaray finally confirmed the arrival of AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao after the Lions informed the Stock Market (KAP) about signing the Colombian.

However, Haberturk claim Falcao may not be the only arrival before the transfer deadline tomorrow and they say the Turkish club are working extremely hard to convince Tosun over a move.

It’s reported the Everton forward has asked for a little time to think about a return to the Super Lig, with Gala boss Fatih Terim looking to partner him with Falcao.

The Istanbul side club will be competing in the Champions League against the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain, so they’re in need of reinforcements.

Tosun recently made his first appearance of the season when Everton defeated Lincoln City in the EFL Cup, and assisted a goal for Alex Iwobi.

The 28 year old still has three years left on his current contract at Goodison Park.
