Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s baby arriving is of huge importance to Leeds United fans.
Firstly, of course, because they can’t wait to congratulate their new hero on his wonderful news, and secondly because they’d quite like to see the rock-a-baby celebration at Millwall tomorrow.
The impending Lasogga birth is also news in Hamburg, where the happy couple are waiting. Hamburger Morgenpost have an update… and it’s that there is no update yet.
Lasogga is still waiting for the birth and if everything happens quickly, he’ll fly to England today and be available for Leeds United on Saturday. MoPo even say a Sunday return to Hamburg is then a possibility for the on loan striker.
Thomas Christiansen may at some point today believe it’s better for Lasogga to stay in Hamburg and skip the Millwall match.
Everyone wants him to play but the practicalities may be easier if he stays where he is, and then returns a proud father, ready to play against Burnley on Tuesday, and/or Ipswich Town a week on Saturday.
