Serie A side Fiorentina are reportedly interested in the Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson. According to Tuttosport on Wednesday, the Swedish player is one of the many targets who the Viola have for the January market.
As usually done by Tuttosport, the Larsson’s name is thrown into a big mix of players who the club would be considering to sign, so it’s really hard to know if he’s one of their priorities or not.
It’s also not mentioned if the first contacts have been already made or how much Fiorentina would be prepared to pay to have the midfielder now, which could only mean that the interest is still in the very early stages.
The 31-year-old missed a big part of the season due to a serious knee surgery he made in August.
He’s been slowly returning to the team, having made only four Premier League starts so far.
Larsson’s contract with Sunderland expires in the next summer.
