Leaving Juventus due to transfer disagreements, Antonio Conte is seemingly trying to get his revenge by offering mountains of money for one of their players.

The Chelsea manager is reported to have requested the signing of Alex Sandro to those in charge at Stamford Bridge, and an offer of €60m for the Brazilian defender has already been rejected by the Serie A club.

Tuttosport on Tuesday explain that while there are normally offers Juventus cannot refuse, like €70m, they know that finding a replacement of similar ability in this scenario is nigh on impossible in today’s market.

The lack of alternatives is also exactly why Chelsea are prepared to throw the kitchen sink, as well as their fridge, at Juventus in order to get a deal done.

Another problem for Juventus, according to the Italian newspaper, is that even if they do sell Sandro to Antonio Conte, this might not be the end of their paths crossing this transfer window.

Tuttosport state the Blues could very easily reignite their interest for Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi, one of Juventus’ targets this summer, whom they are prepared to offer around €40m for.

The Serie A side know Chelsea can offer more money than them, both to the player and the club, yet there is a sense of serenity the forward’s desire to move to Turin will prevail.

There is a deadline for this one, however, as Tuttosport claim Bernardeschi, once he returns from the U21 Euros, would very much like to go on holiday knowing the name of his next club.

Juventus vs Chelsea, while a possible tasty Champions League fixture next year, is one of the battles of this summer’s transfer market.

Antonio Conte’s old club vs his new club. Who will prevail?

Place your bets, but remember, when the fun stops, stop.
