With Edinson Cavani unlikely to stay at Manchester United after the end of the season, it’s no secret that several clubs are interested in signing him this summer.
The striker has been linked to several clubs from Spain and South America, and according to reports on Thursday, there’s a La Liga side getting ready to make a proposal.
The claims come from Uruguayan outlet Traspasos, who write that Real Sociedad currently ‘prepare an offer’ to sign him in June.
The report points out that La Liga ‘seems to be a good destination’ for Cavani, who couldn’t find regularity at Manchester United this season.
Cavani has only scored two goals in 17 appearances for Manchester United this season. Due to injury issues, he hasn’t entered the pitch for the Red Devils for a month now.
Since his contract with the club expires in the summer, there’s even a chance for Argentine and Brazilian sides to fight for his signing as well, making it quite a big race to land him in the coming months.
