Chelsea and AS Roma are likely to see their goalkeepers Thibaut Courtois and Alisson Becker join Real Madrid and Liverpool respectively this summer.

Carta Capital reported on Wednesday the Brazilian is already on his way to England. Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo has relayed the same information and they also claim the Belgium international is one step away from joining Real Madrid.

This will force Chelsea and AS Roma to look for a new goalkeeper and Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen is ‘very well considered’ by both the clubs. The Dutchman is happy at Camp Nou, but is looking for a transfer in order to play regular football next season.

So far, the former Ajax man’s agent has not brought any offers to the offices of Camp Nou. Cillessen has a €60 million release clause in his contract that expires in 2021. The report, however, mentions a fee of more than €30 million (probably around €35-40m) should be sufficient for Barcelona to sanction the sale of their second choice goalkeeper.

Roma have already signed Antonio Mirante from Bologna and have Daniel Fuzato as their other keeper in the squad. It now looks like Chelsea need to bring in a new goalkeeper more than the Italians as Willy Caballero is their only other keeper should Courtois leave the club.
