Riqui Puig made his senior debut for Barcelona last season, but hasn’t made a single appearance for the Catalan club this season.
According to Catalunya Ràdio, the midfielder had an opportunity to leave the Camp Nou in the summer as some of the sporting leaders provided him with interesting opportunities, while others backed him to continue with Barca’s B team.

Puig was not sure if the Premier League would suit his game and was also unsure if he would get regular playing time under Mauricio Pochettino this season. The player was clear that he wanted to continue at Barca.
Catalunya Ràdio reiterates Tottenham are also interested Puig’s teammate Carles Aleñá, but he’s also unsure about Spurs, despite limited playing time under Ernesto Valverde.
