Two days ago, Mundo Deportivo explained Philippe Coutinho’s agent is handling interest from Newcastle United and Everton.
Recent reports coming out of England have stated the Barcelona attacking midfielder has been proposed to the Tyneside club and Tottenham Hotspur.
These claims are relayed in today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo, who then provide their own information on the 29-year-old’s possibility of joining Eddie Howe’s side.
Mundo waste no time in stating that from the Brazil international’s camp, there is ‘no news’ of him being offered to Newcastle or others for the upcoming window.
When discussing a potential move to St James’ Park next month, the newspaper says the former Liverpool star ‘does not see himself playing or living in Newcastle’. Therefore, the player and his environment ‘radically rule out’ the option to join the Magpies.
This report comes a day after we covered claims made by Sport that the South American is not keen to join the Magpies.
Coutinho is the top earner at the Camp Nou and his exit in January, even on a loan deal, will help Barcelona lower their wage bill.
