Morgan Schneiderlin switched clubs at the start of last season, but is apparently open to the idea of doing it again this summer.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is interested in signing the French midfielder at Everton, reports De Telegraaf in the Netherlands. The 26-year-old is also open to a reunion with his former manager under whom he had a brilliant season at Southampton.

De Telegraaf say Koeman has a ‘big suitcase’ with money available to buy players, and is now ready to buy those he wants.

Schneiderlin was quite regular in Louis van Gaal’s team last season, but it remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho also sees him as an important player next season.

At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be anything more to this than an initial plan, and probably De Telegraaf are just itching to comment on transfers after the arrival of the Dutch manager at the Merseyside club.

De Telegraaf had good transfer information from Van Gaal when he was at Manchester United, because he’d previously been a columnist for them. Koeman has also written a regular column for the newspaper, and therefore it’d be no surprise if their Everton information turns out to be accurate.
