Jairo Riedewald to Crystal Palace will be all sorted out over the next 24 hours, report Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
The Ajax defender is on his way to the Premier League for a fee of around €9m, after a whirlwind few days of rumours.
It had been claimed that Everton showed up with interest a little too late, but De Telegraaf believe things happened differently.
In their Thursday newspaper it’s explained that Everton showed interest in recent days, but Ronald Koeman has other targets in mind and now prefers them.
That would suggest that Koeman may not have finished his defensive recruitment at Everton for the current window, but he clearly didn’t feel the will to fight for Riedewald.
Tottenham Hotspur were also interested last season, but during the January transfer window the player decided to stay where he was.
Now his agents have built a deal with Crystal Palace and Riedewald will get the chance to move to England.
