There’s been a few updates from the Italian media on Monday regarding the future of Felipe Anderson, all of which were mostly positive.
TuttoMercatoWeb, for example, claimed a move back to Lazio was ‘very likely’ for the now West Ham reject, who was sent on loan to Porto last season, where he failed to have any impact whatsoever.
Now heading back to London, the idea is for him to leave pretty much straight away, with a deal potentially being worked on.
In the aforementioned report, the idea was a loan with a buying obligation set at €8m, but Calciomercato believe Lazio will do their best to get him for less.
They state that Igli Tare, the Italian side’s director of football, ‘will try to lower the demands of West Ham, who value the player at €8m’.
Down his end, Felipe Anderson ‘is not hiding his desire to go back in any where’, with his agent, Kia Joorabachian, even giving Calciomercato a bit of hope, changing his dry ‘no’ to a ‘nothing new, but who knows…’.
