SportBild believe Jurgen Klopp has a ‘Meister-Plan’ to take the title back to Liverpool after a 26 year absence. In a large article in their magazine this week, SportBild focus on Klopp’s plans and his aim to win the league this season.
Former Liverpool player Markus Babbel has been asked for his opinion and explained: “Klopp has taken in a lot since his arrival in England, reflects a lot. He knows now exactly what he has to do. The title is definitely there.”
Perhaps most interestingly for Liverpool plans, SportBild say they believe Klopp is looking to add to his squad in January.
The German magazine states: ‘To prevent Liverpool from collapsing again, Klopp plans to strengthen the squad again in January – and looks to the Bundesliga.’
There are two Bundesliga players named.
Jonathan Tah is a 20 year old central defender for Bayer Leverkusen, he can also play right back. The other Bundesliga target is Mahmoud Dahoud, with the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, also 20 years of age, repeatedly linked with Klopp interest for some time.
Outside of the Bundesliga, SportBild say FC Porto’s Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera, 26, is of interest, as is Sardar Azmoun, 21, a striker for FC Rostov.
