It’s with great importance that Don Balón reports Liverpool’s interest in a Real Madrid player this Wednesday. According to the Spanish website, the Reds are keen on taking Dani Carvajal from the Galacticos, and have the power to do so.

Jurgen Klopp, who’s been ‘very impressed’ with the right-back’s recent performances, wants the player signed in the summer, something that comes out as a big threat to Real Madrid.

Don Balón claims that Liverpool have ‘more than enough money’ to take the player from Spain, something that would really harm the La Liga side, since Carvajal is the only right-back they have in the squad now.

That’s a nice story and all, but still hard to see it happening. First, because it comes from Don Balon, a source which has come with absurd articles in the past few years.

Second thing is that the website themselves pratically rule out the transfer in the last paragraph of their story.

They claim that Carvajal is happy in Madrid, where he always had the dream to be a starter for the club, and therefore wouldn’t accept making a move to anywhere else.

So despite Jurgen Klopp’s wish, Liverpool’s interest, the possibility of a big offer and all that, a transfer doesn’t happen if the player doesn’t want to go.
