Liverpool are ‘following’ Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and he is likely to join them or Real Madrid in future.
That’s according to compatriot Lasha Salukvadze, who believes the Georgian forward will be moving from Serie A in the near future.
Kvaratskhelia has been in red-hot form for Napoli this season after arriving from Dynamo Batumi in a €10m deal in the summer.
He already has six goals and six assists in 12 games in all competitions, including one goal and two assists in three games in the Champions League.
It’s in Europe where he has been shining in particular, bagging an assist in the 4-1 win over Liverpool on matchday one and then a goal and an assist in the 6-1 demolition of Ajax last week.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with the player, dubbed Kvaradona by the Napoli faithful, earning rave reviews from fans and pundits alike.
And Salukvadze believes that has already translated into interest from the biggest clubs in Europe.
“Kvaratskhelia had an incredible start to the season at Napoli,” Football News 24 report him saying.
“Ancelotti and Klopp are following him, and I think he will go to Liverpool or Real Madrid in the future.
“I also think that this year he can compete for the title of top scorer in both Serie A and the Champions League.”
