Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea’s contract expires in June and there’s still no clarity over his future at the club beyond this season.
The Red Devils have been linked to a few stoppers and this includes FC Porto’s Diogo Costa and Inter Milan’s André Onana.
This is highlighted by FC Inter News, who then state Manchester United plan to keep a close eye on one of the players next week.
Inter face Benfica in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie at the Estádio da Luz on April 11th. The clash will allow the Red Devils scouts to ‘closely observe’ the Cameroonian and also Eagles striker, Gonçalo Ramos.
Like Onana, the Portugal international is also on Manchester United’s agenda for the next window. It’s claimed the Premier League side’s observers will ‘add more information’ about the duo to their notebooks.
Manchester United scouts aim to ‘kill two birds with one stone’ by closely following Onana and Ramos in Portugal next week.
The ex-Ajax man has kept 14 clean sheets and conceded 23 goals from 28 games for Inter, while Ramos has managed 24 goals and 10 assists from 36 matches for Benfica this season.
